I checked on it less and less, often times the distance in between the time I checked was so much that all my kids would have moved out and gone to college ( they were babies and very young the last time I checked) and the parents would be old and dead. I loved the of each new little kid and the renewal of hope as each new generation was started. Tonally, the Rode Podcaster delivers that silky smooth broadcast voice you’d expect, with nice pronunciation around the low and mid ranges, and a nice sparkle around the top end. Finally, there is a 3.5mm jack for headphone monitoring and a control for the headphone volume. In terms of controls, there’s not a huge amount on the mic itself - the theory is you’d use your recording software for checking levels - but there is a single LED which does at least give some visual feedback if you’re going way over the threshold. Form-wise, the Podcaster is an end-address mic, so you’ll need it pointing directly at you although we found the best results came speaking slightly off-axis to reduce plosives, even despite the built-in pop filter. Speaking with her multiple times here will start her battle. She can only be seen again during the OMORI ROUTE, where she can be found standing at the junction between the labs of the SLIME GIRLS, supervising SWEETHEART, who now goes by the name of SWEEPHEART. She is described by MEDUSA as the perfect version of SWEETHEART, but SWEETHEART still rejects her, claiming no-one can be more perfect than herself. PERFECTHEART appears briefly during a cutscene while exploring HUMPHREY, towards the end of MEDUSA's lab. Like SWEETHEART, however, PERFECTHEART is confident - prior to battling the player, PERFECTHEART shows great faith in her fighting powers, giving the player multiple opportunities to avoid fighting her. She lacks SWEETHEART's haughtiness and pride: she speaks politely with the player both inside and outside of the battle and after being beaten by the player, PERFECTHEART humbly accepts her defeat. In contrast to SWEETHEART, PERFECTHEART has a calm, mild personality. She greatly resembles SWEETHEART, but without her frilly dress and hair bow. |
